After years of fronting bands and performing background vocals with artists
such as Donna Summer, Jean Carne, Yolanda Adams, Glenn Jones and Tony Terry, Sylver's stage presence can be described as nothing less than captivating.
Her voice has been heard on chart topping singles: "CHIC Mystique", "Your
Love", and a French re-release of the hit track "Lady Marmalade." This
recording garnered Sylver the title of "chanteuse extraordinaire" at the
National Radio Convention in Antibes, France where they awarded her the "les Etoiles de L'Or de la FM" ("Golden Star of FM")!
Sylver's radiant voice can be heard on the soundtracks of Quentin
Tarantino's "Curled," and "Ricochet" (starring Denzel Washington) and the Stellar Award winning CD "More Than A Melody" by Yolanda Adams. The Cinemax short film, "Eventual Wife" features the CHIC hit, "I Want Your Love" from the CHIC Live at the Budokan CD.
Sylver's television appearances include The Jonathan Ross Show in London, Late Night with Johnny Carson, NBC's Your Big Break, VH-1 Divas Live 2000, Showtime At the Apollo Theatre and of course her most recent appearance on the Valentine's Day Special of The Montel Williams Show.
